During this extremely popular class, your instructor will provide you with dozens of application oriented examples of how to properly vent modern gas appliances, while showing you examples of how not to install vents and appliances. An expert on the topic of venting, Mr. West will provide detailed instruction on the use of the Elite Gas Vent software program. This class will be of interest to Class DM and DP contractors.

Instructor: Don West

Don has been the president of Don West Cooling & Heating, Inc., since 1991. A Block Certified Master Mechanic, who is a former adjunct instructor on the faculty of Johnson County Community College where he taught Basic Principles of HVAC, Equipment Selection and Duct Design, and Installation and Startup classes, where the 2000 IRC was used as the text.
